The second day of the Rashtriya MUN began with a general feedback session led by dais members, followed by a motivational speech from the Secretary General, Mr. Bishesh Bajracharya. For first timers the second day is crucial (guys better watch out and stay focused) and committees have already begun their discussions.

The Samajik Manawik Sanskritik (Sa. Ma. Sa) that passed four working papers the other day began its session by introducing its crisis-fulfilling the demands of Dr. KC who opposed the passing of the bill to establish CCTV cameras in operation theatres.

The Economic Financial Affairs Committee began its session with the GSL making the stances of all countries clear, later, focusing on the problems and solutions of the FDI. This committee has understood the requirements and issues affecting the economic development of LDCs and LLDCs and is currently writing its working paper to address the same.

The United Nations Environment Program is currently discussing on the reasons why the USA backed out from the Paris Agreement. Similarly, other countries have been urging Russia to ratify the Paris Agreement and to control goods that contribute to deforestation and increased carbon emissions. The UNEP has as of now passed two working papers and the third is on the way. Major statements from powerful nations like the USA and Russia are giving their presidential statements.

The tension between India and Pakistan in the UNHRC amplified as India bombed an area controlled by Pakistan as intel was provided from RAW about Islamic militants and their connection to attacks on India. In response Pakistan turned to China for military support which provoked India and they bombed the LOC that destroyed the infrastructure and killed 100 civilians. Pakistan and India refuse to work with each other, furthermore, the situation intensified as reports exposed Pakistani funds being utilized to provide military training than for human rights supervision. Nepal maintained a neutral stance which in turn affected the China- Nepal relations.
